Meet Dr. Ensley

Dr. David Ensley is passionate about blending the artistry of sculpting smiles with the science of creating healthy bites.

His love of orthodontics began when braces transformed his teeth, resulting in a confident, healthy smile! From that moment, he was determined to assist others in achieving the same outcome – beautiful smiles at affordable prices, within a joyful and positive atmosphere.

Dr. Ensley graduated with Highest Honors from the University of Georgia and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia. He went on to serve as an officer for seven years with the US Army, completing a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency and then setting a record as the youngest orthodontist to ever graduate the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program in San Antonio, Texas.

After graduation, Dr. David Ensley completed his board certification, becoming one of the few Board Certified Orthodontists to serve South Austin, Manchaca, Circle C, and Buda. Dr. Ensley is an expert in braces, Invisalign, early treatment, and cutting edge digital dentistry techniques.

When Dr. Ensley is not moving teeth, he is usually spending time with his family. His lovely wife, Mary, is an Austin native and they have four active and adorable children Laura, Daniel, Nathan and Kathryn. He enjoys running, disc golf, reading, barbecue, and football. As a father, he knows how busy it can be taking care of kids, so he is committed to providing you an excellent braces experience through convenient, caring, and comfortable treatment.
