Meet Dr. Huish

Few children would be excited about getting a root canal and crown on their tenth birthday but for Seth Huish, it launched a fascination with dentistry that has continued throughout his life. Seth strengthened his commitment to dentistry in high school and college with numerous internship and volunteer opportunities. He holds a B.S. in biology with a minor in biochemistry from Brigham Young University.

Dr. Huish obtained a DMD from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon. He has served as the pre dental club president and at OHSU volunteered with organizations such as Give Kids a Smile Day and the iCHEE Saturday dental van, which provides care for low-income individuals. Seth was selected by university faculty to participate in an honors endodontic course and clinical dental hypnosis. He was one of two students who assisted in an IV sedation training course. In addition, Dr. Huish worked closely with a mentor to research and present specialty implant cases to professional organizations.

Dr. Huish joined the Celebrate Dental & Braces family in San Antonio in 2013. He enjoys working with children and was even invited to be part of the pediatric surgery center at San Antonio Children’s.

Seth is married to his high school sweetheart and is the father of three young girls, who inspire his interest in pediatrics every day. He enjoys participating in triathlons and exploring San Antonio with his family. Seth is an avid volunteer in the community where he spends time as a Cub Scout master and mentoring the youth at his church. He is an Eagle Scout and speaks fluent German.
